Bravo! I love this! This is exactly what you should be teaching her, and keep teaching her as she gets older.

I have two sisters, twenty years my junior. They are gorgeous young women, and when they were growing up, I did my best to let them know that yes, they were beautiful, and that people (men) will expect time and attention from them. They didn’t owe anyone time, attention, or friendship, that they’re time is their own, and they need not give it away to anybody who simply wants it.

Please keep reminding her of her autonomy, that she is the one chooses who will be in her life. She doesn’t have to be mean, but it is perfectly fine for her to set boundaries, and then enforce them.
