Bill has neglected to understand one salient fact of American life. If you are in a postlition to pass laws that negatively affect the lives of others, but not your own, then YOU are the ones who are in the position of POWER!

It is the patriarchy that allows rich white men like Bill Maher to have a platform on which he can gaslight women about whether the patriarchy exists and it's at this point that if a wealthy white man is saying something about the state of the world, he is getting significant side eye from me. Whatever he has to say is most likely gaslighting self service to assuage his own ego.
