Before College i only knew white people from Tv shows and movies. They were kind of exotic to someone who grew up in a Black school, with Black neighbors, and friends, and family, and seldom encountered any white kids or adults.

I can count the number of white people I met before college. Then I was in an all white environment and Boy! was I horribly disappointed. I won't say why, that might be a post of its own, but I had to keep constantly reminding myself that if I had writers and directors, I would look pretty damn smart and put together too!
