Back in the 80s we had something similar to the Tamagotchi Eggs, (possibly the Giga Pet?), and I think that toy is responsible for my choice about not having kids. I learned from my little electronic pet, that Iwould be an exceptionally loving parent for about 30 days, after which I would forget the child existed.

My conclusion was that I was probably not good parent material.
