As I said! I don’t give a flying hot sh*t how many laws Desantis passes to assuage his base, black people and other marginalized groups have an oral history with which we will continue to educate our young! We have never relied on books written by white authors to tell our stories. I learned about black rebellion and resistance from my mother (who was as a young woman a member of the local chapter of the Black Panther Party). I learned about MLK in school, but I learned about Malcolm X at home!
