As I said before, their little legislative shenanigans aren't going to have such a bad effect on the marginalized communities that are being talked about. We know, and want to know our history and are used to asking questions. Since many elders in our families have lived this history they have no problem sharing it with the rest of their family. The major outcome from all this foolishness will be to make white kids ignorant, and later on probably they will be pissed off that they were lied to. Basically these people are creating the same learning dynamic in which they all grew up. I imagine they feel some type of way about having been lied to when they were kids and this behavior of attempting to ban knowledge could be tied to that.
