As a Black woman, they couldn’t possibly have resisted what they saw as a show of “weakness”! A Black woman, at the top of her game, famous, in the public eye, making a decision to benefit herself! That was like throwing meat to a pack of wild dogs! Guys like Kirk are always, always ready and searching for the next thing to outrage their audiences about.

My first thoughts were to ask what happened, and if she was okay. The fact that none of them even bothered to ask those questions, and jumped right to vilifying her, tells you all you need to know about what they think of her, and what kind of people they are.
