As a Black woman, no trump supporter could ever be my friend, regardless of their race. Those two things are mutually exclusive, because the standard you are willing to give a pass to, is the standard you will condone. I can disagree on which Democrat is best, or what particular policies should be instituted that would take care of a specific problem, but that is not what I am talking about here.

If you are the kind of person who can look past some person’s white supremacy, or nazism, or open misogyny, and homophobia, if you can look past the kinds of people who would deny the right of marginalized people to live their lives free of their judgments, (in other words someone every bit as vile as trump) those are DEAL BREAKERS and we CANNOT and will not be friends.

I do not have the luxury of being friends with those who would oppress me, whether directly or passively, by saying and doing nothing, nor do I like being admonished for being intolerant of the beliefs that harm me and others like me. I do not have the luxury of making friends with people who hate people who look like me, or those people who are willing to overlook that hatred to be friends with them.
