And what's more, they are still living in a mid twentieth century mindset, coupled with nostalgia for that era. Which means they spend their entire time not thinking about the future, or what the present is actually like, but reminiscing about how it used to be, and trying to return us all to that time period.

Many of them are whoa fully out of date technologically, and socially, because they spend the majority of their time around people closer to their own age, so they have no idea what younger people actually think about the world, and why.

My mother is seventy years old, and while she knows how to use a computer, she often forgets that email and text messaging exists. She still thinks phone calls need to be made to accomplish things. She knows nothing about Tik Tok, Tumblr, or even Youtube.

By the time he leaves office, Gen Z (kids born after 2000) will be eligible to vote but will seemingly be locked out of voting for anyone who serves their interests, which are vastly different from his interests when he was a teenager.
