And there in lies the problem of solving these issues. When I was a kid, my mom told me something very interesting. She said, sometimes you gotta kick a mf's ass to get them to leave you alone. What she meant was, some people only understand that you do not wish to be bothered after you give them a quick swat on the nose. its not about compassion, its about limiting the amount of harm they cause.

Certain Liberals have a complete unwillingness to believe that some human beings are simply bullies and/or assholes, who do not actually care about other human beings, and cannot be made to care, no matter how much you explain to them why they should. They can only be reined in, and their impact minimized. You're not swatting them because you enjoy hurting them. You swat them because it is the only message they will be receptive to. The only one they will heed. I think this pandemic is a perfect example.
