And the only reason they haven’t done this to groups of random Black, Asians or Latines adults (yet) is because they’re abject mentally inert fkn cowards who have been brainwashed into thinking it’s okay to attack what they believe to be the weakest links, that is the lgbtq community, because they don’t think such people are strong enough to resist them or have allies. It’s a lot harder for them to attack PoC in public without guns. They think drag queens and transgender folk are not large enough groups or have enough support to fight back.

Just like mass shooters though, they go to places where they think it’s easiest to harm people, namely women and small children. Libraries are primarily staffed by women by a good percent, and most libraries, especially the smaller branches, do not have any kind of security. This wouldn’t have flown in my library because it’s so huge that we have a large security detail, but much smaller library systems are at risk, and are fairly easy targets if people want to act up.

It’s as important for people to notice who these people do NOT target, as to notice who they do!
