And it is telling that we are the only ones ever asked to do this. In the past Europeans were sometimes required to give up their names but they don't do that any more. Only Black people are required to alter our bodies just because it makes somebody white uncomfortable, or who is just powertripping.

Why are we the only ones who have to get laws passed requiring white people to simply "leave our hair alone"?

...And OMG! Why are white people so f***ing obsessed with OUR HAIR!!!! No other group of people in this country has the problem of white people trying to control how their very hair looks! We are the only ones who get this!
