And all of Hollywood started copying that formula because it freaking worked!

Disney did the same thing to. Superheroes. I ain't gonna lie. I'm am a huge Pixar, Star Wars, and Superhero fan and they came up with a formula that works to get butts in seats. Then the rest of Hollywood (and the various studios) started trying hard to copy that style and failing! It's not Hollywoods fault that certain efforts have failed. It's ours for having enabled this style of filmmaking.

The only studios not copying Disney's style are the Independent ones because they're not trying to compete with a billion dollar franchise.
