Along with all the reasons you listed, I don’t think people are taking into account America’s aging population. Pretty soon, we simply won’t have a young enough workforce to keep endlessly producing stuff, and we’re right on the cusp of that now. The elderly are mostly consumers, not being productive in the job market. Getting rid of some senior citizen programs, to be replaced with UBI, makes sense.
