The demographic change is coming and inevitable, because there are too many forces at play here, that white conservatives cannot stop by simply squeezing poor black and brown people harder, or by passing a few draconian laws. These forces happen in every society that reaches a certain age and social development.

My issue is white people’s terror of being obsolete is going to kill the rest of us. Some of them would rather burn the world to ash, rather than share any of it, because it has become frighteningly, clear that some of them have a serious death wish.
