Actually you are not wrong! It’s one of the side effects of success and comfort. After WW2 Americans came home and had a bunch of kids, which resulted in the Boomers (population boom). They were the largest demographic in the US for the past 70 years. It’s not just current birth rates but Boomers had a lot fewer kids (Gen X). And now the Bookers are dying off. This isn’t a conspiracy, just the natural way life works. The largest demographic is getting old, and dying off, putting the average age of white Americans somewhere in the forties or fifties. Meanwhile for Black and Brown people the average age is twenties and thirties (the child bearing ages).
