A person in a relationship is going to be spending a not insignificant amount of time in the presence of the person they choose. It is important that anyone, male or female, have standards for morals, behavior, finances, etc. of the person they choose to be in the company of.

So why are women vilified for having standards men are supposed to meet, in order to spend time with them, but men aren’t? As if women are under some obligation to accept the proposals of any random strangers that wander in their f*cking orbit as viable companions in their lives. I only want certain types of men in my intimate life and there’s nothing wrong with that.
